Hogan Bids Us Farewell

And not a term too soon!

Any speculation on why this power hungry politician is stepping out of his seat?

Before you get started, the official 'watch over my business' line is just that, a line.

Another question: What will his confidante, Sheila Bradley, do with herself after the term? Has she made a name for herself in Richmond?

Candidates are also falling all over themselves to declare themselves. It will certainly be an interesting campaign.

Too bad no one is falling all over themselves to make any comments here. Wake me up when something interesting is posted here.....zzzzzzzzzzz

I ditto the above comment!

Hogan runs a business in the WOOD industry, is that beyond belief that he needs to devote time to that in this economy?

Anyone who thinks the GA is only a 2 month job is fooling themselves - but I guess that speculative comment ('it is just a line')is easily made by an anonymous blogger.

Why don't YOU get some real 'evidence' as to the comments you are making and post them with substantive proof...then we might care.

As it stands now this post is merely your ramblings regarding a man you do not like, looking for some other anonymous person to post some trash about Clarke so you can think you have done something.

Sincerely,
"the monkier"

Not very original, eh?

Hogan is out and Halifax News isn't the only one happy to see him go back to the sawmill.

I usually vote GOP but never voted for him. I doubt the entire truth will ever come out about his choice to leave office.

One doesn't go to Richmond and seize the power he had without high hopes.

I wouldn't be surprised if his own party asked him to not seek re-election. A "more harm than good" scenario.

Can anyone give specifics of things he did for Halifax County?

So what do you all think about Kim White running for the seat?

His 'party' was just as shocked as pretty much everyone else. I can assure you it was not that he was not asked to step aside for re-election.

Kim White is power hungry for sure, and she's proved herself to be a formidable politician.

I always thought she had her eye on the AG office, though.
